IBC Apprenticeship Programme

From Campus to Career. The Marketing Apprenticeship Built for East Africa's Next Generation

ISA Africa’s IBC Apprenticeship Programme was built specifically for recent graduates who are done waiting and ready to work. In just nine months, you will complete six months of intensive, industry-led brand communications training followed by a three-month paid apprenticeship with real agencies and brands across East Africa

Why Choose the ISA Africa Apprenticeship?

The apprenticeship component means you are not just studying marketing, you are doing it. Working alongside practitioners from partner agencies and brands, you build a portfolio of real work that sets you apart the moment you walk into your first interview.

From brand planning and strategic advertising to digital marketing and integrated media management, the IBC curriculum is built around the skills Kenyan and African employers need right now. No outdated theory. No irrelevant case studies. Just the skills that get you hired.

Every trainer on the ISA Africa programme brings a minimum of 10 years of real marketing and advertising experience. You are not learning from academics — you are learning from the people who are building and managing Africa’s biggest brands today.

Our 90% transition rate into permanent employment is not a coincidence, it is the result of a programme specifically designed to make graduates job-ready. From the skills you build to the connections you make, every part of the ISA Africa Apprenticeship is engineered to get you hired.

Five Core Modules Covering the Full Brand Communications Skill Set

The IBC Apprenticeship Programme is structured across five integrated modules that mirror the actual disciplines of a modern marketing and advertising agency. Each module is delivered by an industry practitioner with hands-on experience in that field, ensuring everything you learn is directly applicable to the roles you will be stepping into.
